Juice Reboot Day 6

I just have this nagging feeling that I want to go out and eat something at a restaurant or that I want to cook a delicious meal. I bet I will be even more grateful for a fine meal after my juice reboot. It’s like I’m in such a good mood, I want to celebrate…but with a nice meal. See how my brain is programmed. LOL.

I found out that putting an inch of turmeric into the juicer is not the same as an inch of ginger. Whoa! Turmeric is much more potent in flavor and not in a good way. Yuck! I will start with a fingernail-size next time so I don’t ruin my juice again.

I have been snacking on almonds (about 20 today) and dried mulberries (a small palmful) along with the coconut meat, coconut water and of course my juice. I don’t know how someone can do just juice, but I’m pretty close to that.

Here is a recipe that I concocted yesterday and it was wonderful!

1 cucumber
4-5 carrots
1 small yellow apple (or other variety)
1 celery stalk
A handful of spinach (I like the kind with the stems)
1 leaf of kale
1 orange
1 honey tangerine
1 lemon (or lime)
1 pear
1/2 inch knob of ginger (optional)
